STABLEGROVE bed & breakfast is an AA 4 Star rated Bed & Breakfast and is privilaged to be among the accommodation listed by 'Britains Finest'. This year, 2010-2011 we were proud to win the AA's "Highly Commended" 4 Gold star award, putting us amongst the top 10% 4 Star AA rated Bed & Breakfasts in the country. Situated in the pretty North Somerset village of Wrington, close to Bristol Airport and the Mendip Hills Stablegrove offers the perfect setting from which to explore Somerset and beyond. The house is just on the outskirts of the village but within a 20 minute walk of the village centre (0.75 of a mile) and all its amenities & two Pubs, serving great food. Stablegrove, a former coach house and stables, dates back to the early 1800's and has been lovingly renovated over the years creating a spacious and characterful accommodation. There is a large guest car park at the rear of the house alongside the llama field. Standing in its own grounds with an orchard backing onto farmland, woodland & wrington hill, the views are stunning, especially in Autumn. The house is set well back from the road and slightly elevated, allowing beautiful views from all the bedrooms across to the Mendip Hills. Wrington Village is a conservation village and a prime location for walkers & ramblers as well as bird watchers. Wrington offers 2 pubs, off licience, pharmacy and local store, to name but a few.

We are perfectly situated for Bristol Airport which is 3.5 miles away.
The glorious Chew Valley is only a few miles away, where Fishing & sailing can be enjoyed, the Mendip hills offer some of the most beautiful walks in the country and are just minutes away. Foraging courses are run regularly where you can trek, forage, taste, cook & feast in natures larder - www.walkthemendips.com
Attracting not only walkers & ramblers, but mountain bikers, and pot holers alike. Golf courses abound, and, you will find 4 excellent courses, Riding Stables and dry ski slopes all within a 5 mile radius.
Bristol city centre can be reached in 20mins by car
. The nearest Train station is 3miles away in the Village of Yatton, with trains departing every half hour to Bristol & Bath and of course through to London. Stablegrove B&B is situated between two great pubs, serving good food. The Plough Inn is in the centre of the village, around 0.75 of a mile from us and has a fabulous lunchtime and evening dinner menu. Booking in advance is always advisable as this is a very popular local eatery. The White Hart is also around 0.75 of mile from us, but in the opposite direction. The White Hart serves great 'Pub Grub' and is open all day and of course a little further down the road you can sample the delights from MPW's award winning restaurant. So if relaxing, taking it easy and enjoying good food for a few days is more your thing, then you've come to the right place. Ideal for couples, small groups of friends & family as well as large groups up to 10 adults who want the entire house - your stay can be tailormade for you.
We serve a delicious Aga cooked breakfast, using locally reared Gloucestershire Old Spot sausages & Bacon, local farmshop produce and of course our own free range eggs as well as juice, bread with honey &perserves, fruit,cereals, and yoghurts.
